Hello Friends

There’s a profoundly transformative practice that holds the key to overcoming anxiety, confusion, stress, and overwhelm like nothing else. And here’s the best part—it doesn’t demand anything special, it doesn’t cost a dime, and it doesn’t require you to venture anywhere.

So, what is this magical solution?

It’s as simple as slowing down. I understand, it might not sound particularly thrilling or unique. However, embracing this one small adjustment can genuinely revolutionize your life if you embrace it fully.

Our sleep can become shallow and erratic, our minds can wander incessantly, and we can gradually lose touch with our inner guidance. We stay busy, but ironically, we forget to prioritize the things that truly nourish us.

I have received many requests of late to send text reminders. The best way to connect to my clients quickly and without disturbance to ones busy day, offering a gentle nudge and reminder – have you booked in for your self care? Have you downloaded this month’s stress, or is it still lingering in your body or energy field. I will be offering all of my clients text reminders. I absolutely do not want to spam my people, it is an offering only to remind you to take that time for yourself, because lets face it – reminders are helpful in this day and age.

Practices like sound healing, yoga, Kinesiology, angelic reiki and meditation wield such power. They cleanse our bodies and nervous systems, wiping away the layers of overstimulation and distraction, allowing us to reconnect with the deeper currents beneath the surface commotion.

And you know what? It feels incredible to truly relax! It’s in these moments that creativity flourishes, and life flows effortlessly. From this state of flow, our actions become inspired and impactful, and we achieve more with less effort.

It’s a paradox—slowing down to speed up—but it’s undeniably true. Each intentional pause to breathe, to listen, to simply be, is an investment in your spiritual growth and alignment.

So, as straightforward as it may seem, sometimes all it takes is a moment to slow down. And who knows, in that moment, you might just find the inspiration to unroll your yoga mat or immerse yourself in your favourite calming music, nurturing your soul for a few precious minutes.

And if you need my help, I am here for you.

Love and Blessings,

What do you do when anxiety shows up? Most of us block, get scared or avoidant. But what would happen if you’d treated your anxiety as a ‘messenger’ rather than a scary monster?

What if your anxiety were a good thing?
I’ll share a personal practice with you, something I do when anxiety shows up for me. I remind myself that often anxiety is a ‘messenger’, that I’m being called to expand out of my comfort zone, and being called to grow.
Just imagine this..
What if every time anxiety shows up it’s because we’re being called to unfold into a higher version of ourselves? Maybe this means having a tough conversation with a loved one, or asking for a raise, saying no to a relationship that doesn’t serve your highest good, or jumping into the unknown.
Yes, it will be scary, and yes it’s going to require some vulnerability and risk. But, if you listen closely, your anxiety is your vibrating call to action that lives in your chest and lies behind the voice of fear.
Try this next time anxiety shows up for you. Ask yourself: ”What is my anxiety telling me?””How am I being called to grow in this moment?” “And what can I do to achieve what I want in order to thrive?”
Follow the simple steps below to guide you through a 2-5 minute meditation for anxiety – a technique that combines attention to breath and gratitude. And the best thing about this practice: you can do it ANYWHERE you are.

Sit comfortably and close your eyes.

Bring your awareness to your internal state and let go over anything happening in the outside world or any thoughts in your mind.

Become conscious of your breath, the inhale and exhale, and slow your breath.

Focus on your heart area in the centre of your chest, and begin to breathe in and out of your heart area.

Feel the emotions of love, care and appreciation in your heart. With each breathe, see/feel your heart filling up with bright light.

Fill your entire body with this light, each breathe spreading this beautiful light, filling up every cell.

When your body is full of light expand this light to fill the entire universe with love, care and appreciation.

Send this light down your spine, legs and into the centre of the earth and breathe here until you are ready to finish your meditation.

This technique of shifting into a state of heart coherence can increase your vibration and connect you with your higher self. Achieving heart coherence will impact your daily life — physically, mentally, and emotionally — enabling you to stay calm under pressure, make more effective decisions, and feel lighter as you walk through the world. Increasing your vibration can lead to greater self‑regulation, which results in reduced stress and anxiety and an increased sense of groundedness and calm. You are empowered to access deeper levels of spiritual awareness, facilitating your awakening process and shedding light on your sense of purpose. By raising your personal vibration baseline, positive changes can begin manifesting in your life, enabling you to experience greater joy and a deeper sense of fulfillment, belonging, connection, and purpose.

Kinesiology is incredibly effective for changing neural pathways in the brain, allowing you to change thought patterns, behaviours, perceptions, beliefs so that you can feel calm, centred and in control of your emotions. The brain can settle down, preventing anxiety and stress, so that you can live with joy and ease.

Enquire within for Specialised Brain Intergration and neurological Kinesiology, or for more tips and tools you can use in meditation or doing breathwork or even to learn how to practice Angelic Reiki on yourself. I can also ask your body using functional kinesiology which Essential Oils are perfect to combat your anxiety as not every oil is suitable for every person in each situation.

Love and Blessings

Brain fog is a frustrating experience that can leave us feeling like our thoughts are in a thick fog. It is more than just forgetfulness or a momentary lapse in memory, and can significantly impact our ability to think clearly and perform daily tasks. Although not a medical condition in and of itself, it is a common symptom of other underlying health issues or medical conditions.

The symptoms of brain fog are characterized by difficulty concentrating, forgetfulness, an inability to multitask, and trouble thinking clearly. In more severe cases, it can also lead to depression, headaches, irritability, lack of motivation, mood swings, and trouble sleeping. If you have been experiencing these symptoms for an extended period of time, it may be time to seek the advice of a healthcare professional.

Diagnosing brain fog can be challenging, but your healthcare practitioner will likely ask you about your overall health, mental health, and diet, as well as any medications or supplements you are taking or activities you are regularly engaged in. Blood work may be done to test for allergies, infections, inflammation, or nutritional issues, and to ensure that your blood glucose levels, kidneys, liver, and thyroid are functioning properly. Further testing, such as X-rays, an MRI, or a CT scan, may also be ordered if needed.

If you are struggling with brain fog, it is essential to speak with your healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause and develop an effective treatment plan. By addressing the root cause of your brain fog, you can improve your overall health and well-being and regain your ability to think clearly and focus.

Brain fog is a condition that affects the body and not just the brain, and it can be caused by a variety of factors and health issues. Nutrition plays a significant role in brain health, and deficiencies in key nutrients such as vitamin B-12 and vitamin D can lead to mental fatigue. In addition, allergies, sensitivities, or intolerances to certain foods, such as gluten, can cause brain fog.

Brain fog is also a symptom of many different health conditions, including Alzheimer’s disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, diabetes, fibromyalgia, liver congestion, lupus, Lyme disease, multiple sclerosis, and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. Inflammation caused by these conditions can affect the brain’s ability to send signals through neurons, leading to mental exhaustion.

Hormonal changes can also lead to brain fog. Women may experience brain fog due to hormonal changes during pregnancy or menopause. Medications, both prescription and over-the-counter, can also cause brain fog as a side effect, especially drugs used to sleep better or fight pain.

Mitochondrial dysfunction, caused by heavy metals, inflammation, and oxidative stress, can reduce the brain’s energy level and cause mental fatigue. Overthinking can also lead to brain exhaustion, just as physical exhaustion can occur when you work too hard. Parasites, including black mold and other bacteria, can affect brain function and cause depression. It’s important to keep these parasites in check to maintain brain health.

There are many modalities which target the physical body to address symptoms and potential causes of brain fog. Kinesiology, Angelic Reiki and Sound Healing focus on a perons entire being as whole to discover where stress from a person’s energetic structure has contibuted over time to acculumate as a physical impairment. By becoming conscious of what we hold in our energy field and how it is affecting us in our physical level of our being we can overcome physical health issues potentially at a high and permanent level. Not only do we receive physical healing in a kinesiology, sound or reiki session, we also benefit on an emotional and mental level, affecting how we as individuals perceive ourselves and our lives, providing personal and spiritual growth in addition to physical wellness. Brain Fog is just one of the ways our body is telling us that we are not in harmony with our true selves. Kinesiology is the way to show us how, and resolve that for our clarity of mind and total holistic wellbeing.

Jessie has personally experienced Fibromyalgia, of which brain fog, was a serious symptom with life-altering consequences for her. Brain Fog interfered with her work, her relationships and her daily life to such a degree that Jessie had moments of complete confusion and memory loss. It was not until Jessie received a diagnosis and saught treatment with kinesiology that her symptoms improved dramatically and she was able to continue her studies and serve her clients with keen focus and empathy for their own mental difficulties. It is this experience, compassion and knowledge aquired through healing herself that she offers her clients. You too, can overcome serious health concerns. Contact Jessie today to secure a time for your holistic healing or simply arrange a Discovery call to discuss your concerns. Namaste.

Yoga, an ancient practice and meditation, is not just a trend, but a lifestyle that can transform your mind and body. In today’s fast-paced world, it has become increasingly popular for many people as it provides a retreat from their chaotic and busy lives. Whether you’re practicing yoga in the comfort of your bedroom or in an ashram in India, the benefits of yoga are undeniable, both mentally and physically. Let’s delve deeper into the various ways that yoga can improve your life.

There are many types of yoga, but Hatha yoga is one of the most popular styles. It is a physical type of yoga that focuses on pranayamas (breath-controlled exercises) and a series of asanas (yoga postures) that end with savasana (a resting period). The goal during yoga practice is to challenge yourself physically, but not to feel overwhelmed. At this “edge,” the focus is on your breath while your mind is accepting and calm.

One of the most significant benefits of yoga is developing inner awareness. Yoga helps you to focus your attention on your body’s abilities at the present moment, which helps develop breath and strength of mind and body. Yoga is not about physical appearance, which is why yoga studios typically don’t have mirrors. This is so people can focus their awareness inward rather than how a pose or the people around them look. Surveys have found that those who practice yoga were more aware of their bodies than people who didn’t practice yoga. They were also more satisfied with and less critical of their bodies. For these reasons, yoga has become an integral part of the treatment of eating disorders and programs that promote positive body image and self-esteem.

Another way that yoga can benefit your life is by helping you become a mindful eater. Mindfulness refers to focusing your attention on what you are experiencing in the present moment without judging yourself. Practicing yoga has been shown to increase mindfulness not just in class, but in other areas of a person’s life. Researchers describe mindful eating as a nonjudgmental awareness of the physical and emotional sensations associated with eating. People who practiced yoga were found to be more mindful eaters according to their scores. Practicing yoga helps you to be more aware of how your body feels. This heightened awareness can carry over to mealtime as you savor each bite or sip and note how food smells, tastes, and feels in your mouth.

People who practice yoga and are mindful eaters are more in tune with their bodies, which can lead to weight loss and maintenance. Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years gained less weight during middle adulthood. People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness, as mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.

In addition to these benefits, yoga can also enhance your fitness. It is known for its ability to soothe tension and anxiety in the mind and body. But it can also have an impact on a person’s exercise capacity. Researchers studied a small group of sedentary individuals who had not practiced yoga before. After eight weeks of practicing yoga at least twice a week for a total of 180 minutes, participants had greater muscle strength and endurance, flexibility, and cardio-respiratory fitness.

Furthermore, several small studies have found that yoga has a positive effect on cardiovascular risk factors. It helped lower blood pressure in people who have hypertension, and it restored “baroreceptor sensitivity.” This helps the body sense imbalances in blood pressure and maintain balance. Another study found that practicing yoga improved lipid profiles in healthy patients as well as patients with known coronary artery disease.

So, what are you waiting for? Get yourself to a class and start reaping the benefits of yoga both on, and off, the mat!
